Compass Rose Student Housing primarily serves students attending technical, career, and trade schools in our service areas. If you’re attending a qualifying school near one of our communities, our team can help you explore your housing options.

Wait until your school acceptance before applying for housing. After you get accepted, contact us for help and then submit your application. If you’ll want to live with friends attending the same school, say so on your application and ask them to list you on theirs.

Yes, there is a $50 non-refundable application fee. This fee covers the cost of conducting necessary background checks on you and your guarantor. In addition to the application fee, there is a $180 secure your spot fee. This fee is refundable up to 30 days before your move-in date should your housing plans change.

Furniture is provided in the apartment, including living room, dining room, and bedroom furnishings. Twin beds are supplied, and appliances such as stove, refrigerator, washer, and dryer are included. Heating and air conditioning are also provided at a budgeted cost.

You are not responsible for your roommates' rent. Each student has their own lease terms, meaning every tenant is solely responsible for their personal share of the rent.

In our standard shared setup, you will share a bedroom with another student attending the same school. If you wish to room with a specific friend, you can list their name on your application as a roommate request. We will do our best to accommodate such requests. Otherwise, we will pair you with a student based on the information provided in your applications.

All requests, including those for private bedrooms, are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis. Private bedrooms are typically limited in availability. We recommend completing your application and paying the secure your spot fee promptly to increase the likelihood of accommodating your preferences. Housing options are categorized as compact, core, deluxe, and premium.

Currently, we do not offer any co-ed shared housing options.

Upon receiving your application, we will initiate the approval process. Once approved, you will receive an email with instructions to access your account and pay the required secure your spot fee. You can log into your CRSH account at any time to view your account information and make your housing program payment online.
