Vital Information for Incoming Shared Housing Students
- FEES: $50 Application Fee is non-refundable. $180 Secure-Your-Spot Fee is refundable up to 30 days prior to move-in. Deposit not may be required with approved guarantor.
- PLACEMENT ORDER: Based on the date you pay your Secure-Your-Spot Fee and your school start date.
- DISTANCE: All communities are within 15 miles from campus.
- APARTMENT SIZE: 2 bedrooms minimum and 3 bedrooms maximum in shared student apartment.
- OCCUPANCY: 2 bedroom apartments are shared by 3-4 students while 3 bedroom apartments are shared by 5-6 students maximum.
- SHARED BEDROOM: 2 students per bedroom in a 2-3 bedroom, shared apartment. Maximum occupancy is 4-6 students in a shared apartment.
- PRIVATE BEDROOM: 1 student per bedroom in 2-3 bedroom, shared apartment. Limited availability to select communities. Does not include private bathroom.
- BATHROOM: There are no private bathrooms available in any apartment.
- INCLUDED: Basic furniture package and basic utility allowance.
- SMOKING: No smoking or vaping inside ANY Compass Rose room and shared apartment. Some apartment complexes are no smoking facilities, even outdoors.
- SHARED HOUSING: More affordable option
Independent Housing:
Independent housing is for those not interested in our shared housing program. By choosing this route, you will be reaching out to apartment communities directly and on your own accord, and speaking with their leasing team regarding apartment information, pricing, and qualification requirements. Applicants will be applying for their own apartment without the involvement of Compass Rose and signing their own lease directly with the apartment community of their choice. Compass Rose does not have any information on pricing and availability and has no involvement or knowledge regarding how applicants will be qualified.
